Said it was just "swing, jump, flip and slide your stickman flip master body from one neon color shape to another to make them glow and Flashpoint Brawl-it up." Like, technically true, but it's like describing pizza as "bread with toppings." So wrong.
Honestly, it’s so much more than that. I thought it was gonna be some dumb little mobile game I'd play for five minutes and delete. But no. The first time I actually *played* it, I was like, "whoa." You *do* swing and jump, yeah, but it's not just about making shapes glow. It's about *timing* and *strategy*. You have to connect these glowing lines, almost like a circuit, and when you get a whole section to light up, it feels so good. There's this super satisfying *thrum* sound when you complete a "grid," and then the whole screen just explodes with color for a second. That's the Flashpoint Brawl part, I guess. It’s like, you’re not just making colors glow, you're *powering up* the world, pushing back against this dark stuff.
I swear, I sat down at like 9 PM thinking I'd play for a bit, and next thing I know, my phone screen says 2 AM. I totally lost track of time. There was this one part, in the "Whispering Voids" level, where I had to connect these three really fast moving shapes, and if you missed one, the whole thing reset. It was so frustrating but when I finally nailed it, and this huge "Flashpoint" burst happened, it was just pure relief. And then a new path opened up, like, a secret one! I even told Sarah at work about it today, she usually hates these kinds of games but I think I convinced her to try it.
It's weird, I don't usually get into games like this, but this one just clicked. It's like playing a super fast puzzle game mixed with a rhythm game, but where you actually feel like you're accomplishing something big.
